Default Desolder Pump

I've become farily mastered in the desoldering braid but would like something a little faster and easier.

How do these work. I was looking at a few fun blown units then saw these. I've used the regular pumps and hated them, but this is part of the tip.

i have never had any kind of luck with the desoldering braid. i even bought one of the desolder pumps to see if that would work any better and the tip seemed to be a little to big to get into the arears of the ECU. the best way that i have figured is to put the ECU in a vise so that is is standing up and the put the iron on one side and use the solder vacuum and suck the other side. on a good day i can have the whoel thing desoldered in 15-20 minutes.

I'm using braid right now, it's sexy and easy.

I'm working on a electrical driven desoldering pump though, I'll keep you posted.

I use a seperate solder sucker. It works great. Heat one side with the soldering iron and suck the solder out the other side.

Its this one.
