Datalogging w/ wideband???
I'm looking into buying a wideband to and learn how to tune a little better for some of my friends cars and I still have a couple questions.
I got datalogging to work with ecucontrol and can record to fine and export into excel.
Now that I'm looking into getting a wideband I'm kinda stuck on how i datalog the wideband readings and apply those along with the map reading and rpm from ecu control. is there a way to tell ecu control that i have a wideband and to read 0-5V or what?
Just looking for some insight.
Thanks for any help/advice guys!!!

Re:Datalogging w/ wideband???
if i'm not mistaken, which i probably am coz i'm a ------- putz, some widebands out there have an RPM pickup and other sensor inputs so it can datalog everything at once to one app. but then again, who would wanna believe me? :P

Re:Datalogging w/ wideband???
Most good widebands come with some way to datalog some information. The problem is that you are datalogging the information that the wideband is reading and not what the ECU is reading. Sometimes the wideband and ECU read voltages at different rates.
And no, right now you cant hook up a wideband to a Honda ECU. I believe Blake is working on it and its coming soon for TurboEdit.

Re:Datalogging w/ wideband???
I was going to get the new PLX devices wideband with datalogging. This pretty much does everything there software does doesn't it? I just have to solder in the datalogging stuff and all the datalogging to the bin file on each car i want to tune correct?
So I could get a lower class wideband like the plx 300 and then just run that signal in correct?
Any opinions on which way to go as far as buying the more expensive plx device wideband because i can tune on pretty much any honda or getting the one without datalogging to save some money and then solder in the serial cables to there ecu?
Thanks calvin for any help/info!!!
