I belive using a AFC hack would be best suited for my setup.
using my 450cc injectors I could run a smooth, rich setup.

my question is, which basemap should I run to get myself started off, and which direction should I go in order to have a smooth running setup

ps; doing more reading on the turbo itself, the turbo will keep up to 7200rpm

:D

Um...Your not listening...

supra ct26 is NOT a t4 flange, not even close.
The hot side will flow MUCH more than your car will ever make. Thats not the problem...
The problem is that the compressor is very ineffecient, Basically past around 14psi, its just blowing hot air...

Im not sure what you want to use it for, but boosting a 4500 is not what I would call "fun"
IF you use the Mr2 turbine housing/wastegate it will spool MUCH faster.
The rule of thumb is to use the smallest (read most effective) turbo you can to make the power you want without thermally maxing out the turbo.

Also dont forget, if you run an afc hack, you cant "safely" boost past 10psi...although some will argue that point to their graves. :P

You've hit the nail on the head. CT-26 threshold time on a b18 is ok, with a d15 you're going to hate it, especially when you're only going to have maybe(at the most) 2,000 rpm's worth of boost time. BTW, how "built" is this motor? If you still have stock rods and pistons kiss them goodbye pass the 200-ish mark. Not to mention the amount of stress that will be placed on the motor going from sub-100whp to your 250 goal in a matter of a few hundred rpm. Ease it up gradually (with a smaller turbo or exhaust housing) and it'll be much happier. And since you already have a p06, why not just chip the ecu and run good management instead of a half-assed hack that will suffer horribly in mid throttle driving?

what would you suggest for chipping? I heard chrome was good. but knowledge of it stops there, and what would be the code, for the MR2 exhaust housing?

Re: ct26

Considering another option - I have a gm8 turbo off a 6.3L turbo diesel.

it would be more of a climb than a spike. Has a smaller trim and a/r.

hot side is also smaller.

Re: ct26

250 is a little much for a d15, even with arps and the metal hg, your issue is going to be rods flying out from where they are supposed to.

running some cheap uberdata/chrome and go learn some more.

I'll be running a 7M CT26 for 2 reasons.

They are Cheap to replace and fairly easy to come by.

My plans are to make around 350whp max so this is a good turbo for it.

But my setup is also on a B16 and I know I can spool it at around 4K, your D15 is going to have a hard time spooling that turbo.

Im using ct26 rebuilt with t04 internals , b16a1
very impressed with it and no problems so far

Re: ct26

does the ct26 have its own flange or does it bolt up to t3?

It has it's own unique flange. Looks similar to a dsm flange at first, except much larger and rectangular shaped with a round entry.
