Re: ct26

ok ok lets do this properly. d15b7 ARP headstuds, metal HG.

parts;
cust log style turbo mani
ct26 turbo
450cc dsm
greddy type RS bov
cust exhaust 3" yaye.
p06
HMT style boost controller
random boost guage
bar and plate intercooler big fucker
2.5" CP HMT ghetto ----.
heat wrap

um thats it for now.

my hp goal is 250 bhp.
turbo is being rebuilt.
factory rate is 179 kW

as per google research: kWx1.341=hp - 179x1.341= 240hp

so My turbo should be good for my hp goal.

basicly I want to run a piggy back. Anyone have similar setup and/or used this turbo.

Have you ever ridden in a mk3 supra??? Boost threshhold is like at 2800-3500 stock. That exhaust housing has made over 500 crank horsepower on 7m's. Spool might be a problem for you, not sure since ive never experienced a d15 w/ that setup. You could have made your 250hp on a 14b and still spool at a decent rpm. Or if you get a hair up your ass, you could use the turbine housing from an mr2...

BTW the CT26 is a very ineffiecent turbo for higher boost levels, dont plan on making too much hp in the future...

Re: ct26

I'm thinking of swap the hot side for smaller one,

I haven't looked into yet but it seams to me like the flange from the ct26 is a t4.

from what we've calculated we're expecting to see boost around 4500 rpm. :y

Re: ct26

So I was doing a bit more research;

using my setup;
parts;
cust log style turbo mani
ct26 turbo
450cc dsm
greddy type RS bov
cust exhaust 3" yaye.
p06
HMT style boost controller
random boost guage
bar and plate intercooler big fucker
2.5" CP HMT ghetto ----.
heat wrap

I belive using a AFC hack would be best suited for my setup.
using my 450cc injectors I could run a smooth, rich setup.

my question is, which basemap should I run to get myself started off, and which direction should I go in order to have a smooth running setup

ps; doing more reading on the turbo itself, the turbo will keep up to 7200rpm

:D
