Just jumper the connector and do it in your driveway. Save 20mins of dealing with vatozone workers.

Well you have failed to recognize your ECU was unchipped and you can't check codes on an OBD-I Civic. I really don't see this whole thing going well for you.

 

This is day one stuff man it literally takes a paper clip and 2 minutes but if not oh well

 

Your on HMT and cant check the ecu codes If you dont own a paperclip or know how to stuff one into a electrical connector then you are truly fucked

 

no well thanks for the encouragement. i havent surfed h-t in well over a year. ive never actually heard of this paperclip trick, and ive never claimed to be an ecu guru or anything on that matter. yes im totally in the dark when dealing with ecus. an utterly complete ignorant. so im not going to ask for help on how to do it since all i get is ridicule, but thanks for what you have told me so far
