Megasquirt.

If it was OBD1 GM I would say use a 749 ECM and mod the Syclone or GNX mask to suit, but it is decidedly not OBD1.

My cavalier has 2 more cylinders, but for your car being OBD2 and ----, M.S. is the right direction.

is the cavalier fwd? You should get the turbo lump we get over here. The astra vxr has a 240bhp turbo lump and the cavalier turbo also has a 230bhp turbo lump.

the HP tuners software seems to be a good solution, however, i was playing around with it on a friends turbo cav out here on the west coast and as soon as it starts to get into high boost maps, it seems to get a tad unstable. Not entirely sure why.

My cavaliver is running on a SDS standalone and has been working fine for me the last little. Ill see how usable it really is when i swap over to the turbo system.

There is another car out here with a turbo kit and we are running a set of 340cc injectors in it and thats its. The factory ECU was able to compensate for the added amount of fuel being supplied to the motor and corrected it for the pressure the map was seeing.

Doing it with what i termed the "big injector theory" way, the cold idle sucks *** but once its up to operating temp, it runs beautifully.

I was optimistic that this little theory would be a viable solution, i tried it in a Turbo 92 Beretta GTZ that was having fuel and tuning issues and it worked like a charm. Took out his secondary inline fuel pump and FMU, stuffed in a set of 440 Ford motorsport green top injectors and it works flawlessly for his daily driven 12psi.
