sorry dude,

getting the "code" on obd2 is a pain in the ***. you either have to take it to a shop or purchase an expensive scan tool (minimum $100)

cant you go down to autozone or pepboys and they tell you what your check engine light is on for, for free? i'm pretty sure autozone tells you why its on.

I've have a similar problem right now with my car and FMU, the car idles like crap, and stalls sometimes if not kept accelerated. I do have an o2 CEL and open downpipe, could this be why. Mine is a d16 and I have the o2 on the STD manifold.
It's having an open downpipe the cause of this problem?
I don't see why this could be but I don't know everything.

open downpipe will not cause anything but more boost, quicker spool, and a loud *** ZZZZZzzzzZZZZZ noise! i ran open downpipe for like 2 weeks and didnt have any problems besides getting choked from the gases. you guys both need to fix your o2 sensors then go from there. that could be a big part of the problem especially for the obd1 and obd2.
