Can I use a auto ecu to run my 5 speed?

Default Can I use a auto ecu to run my 5 speed?

SO im going obd-1. Ive got the diz. the obd0 to obd1 jumperharnes, and the o2 senc. Now im looking at getting the ecu. Im running a built b18a. So my big ? is can I use a auto ecu even though I dont have a auto?

Auto and manual ECU are the same thing, right down to the tune, only auto ECUs have a few more parts.

What you need to do is look right below the silkscreen where the chip goes, it's the bottom right when you hold the ECU with the plugs in your left hand, and there are a series of RPxx jumpers there. What you need to do is remove RP17 entirely, and replace RP18 with a piece of jumper wire.
