Karmann vortex mass air sensors cannot be used in blow through. Due to the way they meter air, they don't measure compressed air the same as ambient air (hence the baro sensor).
Hot wire sensors can be used in blow through, but you might need to alter the tune if you get it in a strange flow situation. They are typically much more reliable as a draw through the way they were originally intended to be use. People use them in blow through every day without problems, but people are ********.
It would help if we knew what car this was on.
