Any Fuel Management Suggestions for a 96 V6 Mustang?
Yeah, I know. A friend of mine has got the turbo bug, and just so he doesn't blow up his only ride, I'm helping him. Any ideas besides using a stand-alone or FMU?
Also, if you guys have any pics (or links to pics) of turbo stangs, I'd appriciate it. The plumbing is gonna be hell.

even turbo that thing probably wouldn't be that fast, but i dont know that much about them, maybe they have really strong internals for lots of boost? if he wants a fast mustang he should sell it and get a 5.0 or maybe that SVO-4 with the 2.3 turbo 4-cylinder?

He loves his car, and he's bent on turboing it. He rode in my car, so now he's got a hard on. Either way, I don't wanna help, but I don't want him to blow up his ----, either. Oh well, looks like it's gonna be a learning experience.

The best fuel management for it would be as follows.
1. Manage to fill up gas container
2 Carefully pour contents in container on mustang
3 Manage to run as fast as you can and pat yourself on a job well done.
Just kidding but here's a bump for your question. :P

he also needs to take into account how to deal with his MAF situation and ecu situation.
he needs to put the MAF before the turbo inlet and use a bypass valve not a blow-off valve so the MAF doesn't read anything bad between shifts.
vortec fmu @ 12:1 is the norm for mustangs whether they be 5.0 or 3.8
why doesn't he just find a wrecked thunderbird supercoupe and steal the drivetrain from that?
