It doesn't log anything of use yet.

Basically, VSS, RPM, intake temp, coolant temp, maybe some other stuff. I haven't used it in a while.

What it does log, however, it logs pretty well. Nick is still working on the A/F and MAP sensor signals. Once it has that.. it's ON!

I thought there was a map and a/f meter on ecu control?

There is, but it's non-functioning as of yet.

I believe Nick is working on hooking the A/F signal address.

for the a/f meter. could you just tap a jumper wire from the O2 sensor input wire, into the ecu and jump it to the serial plug. then inside the code of ecu control do the math to display the a/f ratio? or does the o2 wire no directly plug into the ecu?

You could do that, but the A/F ratio is based on voltage sent to the ECU from the O2. I'm not sure how accurately you could measure voltage through a communications port, if you can all.

If you could interest Christian in OBD0 he'd have it in an afternoon.

Most of the OBD0 guys are softies, not hardware geeks, and don't have test benches where they can properly ---- around with stuff like they need to to figure certain things out. Test bench, signal generator/resistors/etc to imitate inputs, and fiddling ECU Control to poll memory locations would turn it up in short order.

Biggest problem with ECU Control? It's author Nick is HUGELY busy... I've pestered him twice about debugging OBD1 ECU Control since I have OBD1 setup and XP craptop on hand so he can do it remote. Whether you have software or hardware bias, lack of time in general is the biggest reason nothing gets done.
