Default another afc ?

hi guys, yes another noob so i'll keep it simple. will a field's vtec controller work just as well as an apex-i vafc to manage dsm 450's? i'm planning on doing a 14b turbo setup on a d16z6 motor. i've read a lot about the vafc hack but has anybody done a field's vtec controller hack? thanks in advance...

the general consensus is that, because the Field unit only scales to +/- 30%, it doesnt scale the map sensor back enough to avoid a check engine light under boost. It will also most likely run rich
