i just want to keep my engine stock internals and run 7-8 psi daily
how much power would i get?
do i need to change intake manifold?
and how would i turbo it? i never done it before

and i know ebay turbos are crap but ill probably end up upgrading the turbo in the future
You have a civic hx engine, the gearing is really long on the hx tranny. The whole vtec system on the hx motor isn't for speed but for gas mileage. (google it if u want) Dont get the ebay kit, but a log style cast iron manifold, get a used turbo off ebay, craigslist, this site ect... make sure its a good brand like garrett and that the turbo is in good condition. Then get a decent wastegate, u dont want a ebay wastegate and it gets stuck and ur boostin a million psi. ebay intercooler should be good, and i guess bov should be good. everything else like charge pipes you can weld together using 2.5" mild steel tubing. Just search how to put everything together

can anyone direct me to how to install a turbo kit on a d series? this will be my first time and i wanna do it at home and not pay someone to do it for me. i understand the basics. tube goes to intake manifold, then to intercooler then to turbo.. how do the oil lines go?

yeah my car is at 3k rpms at 65.. and i know i read a lot of the articles here but they mostly just tell me what i need, i dont really care for that since im buying a complete kit i just want to know like step by step instructions with the fuel system and how to get the oil flow to and from the turbo for my d16
for oil feed. use a t-fitting and tap into your oil pressure switch or you can tap into a oil galley plug. a lot of people are also using those oil filter adaptors. either one will work fine.
for oil drain you can drill and tap a -8 fitting into the oil pan or you can use a scavange pump and have it pumped back into the crankcase through the oil fill tube or where ever you desire.
as for fuel system. get rid of the stock fuel pressure regulator and install a 1:1 boost reference fuel pressure regulator in its place. get larger injectors(size depends on hp needas). get it tuned. i believe honda tuners have a program called hondata. they install a programmable chip in the stock ecm and they can flash the ecm to your needs.
