I had to do a battery in a toureg (sp?) the other day....after 3 mechanics wandered around the car for 45 minutes trying to find it we finally looked it up on our computer....WHY THE ---- DID THEY FEEL THAT INSIDE THE DRIVER'S SEAT CUSHION WAS A GOOD PLACE TO PUT THE BATTERY Oh yea, and the damn thing was $140 at our cost....poor ****** spent A LOT on a battery that day.

Nice, that sounds about right, a buddy of mine and I changed the battery on his 01 jetta vr6, and it took a good half hour..

I have a friend in Charlotte who does most the electrical and all the VAG reflashing/updates for a VW/Audi dealership. He's a huge fan of Honduhs, crotch rockets, and domestic muscle. Seriously good dude, and outside of the workplace you won't catch him dead in a VW.
