I had the exact same thing happen to me. I sold my accord about 3 months ago to a dude that drove up to my house about 6pm and asked to test drive it. After the hour test drive he said he wanted to buy it so I proceeded and cleaned all my ---- out. Well the car had some problems so we didnt date the title so when he fixed it he would date it and have it transferred. Well a month after selling the car I get a certified letter in the mail from our local towing company saying that they towed the car and I have to come pay storage fees of like $350. Well I show up and tell them I sold the car and they dont care they tell me I have two options. Option 1: pay the storage and towage fees and its my car again or Option 2: go pay $40 for a duplicate title from the tag agency and give it to them and pay the towage fee and they dispose of the car. Well I choose option 2 cause I didnt want the car back no matter what. They said since I never went down with the guy and transferred the title Iam responsible. So I learned my lesson that day. Never sell a car without going down in person and having the title transferred and never buy a car without the title(leaned this second lesson that day too but that is a different story).

Update!

The guy I sold the car to sold the car to another guy that sold it to the ***** who has it now. The neighbors are telling the cops that the car was dropped off by 5 people in a flatbead truck late one night. It's funny how they have all those details, but didn't get a description of the vehicle or a license plate number. The cop believes them.

The guy I sold it to is friends with the towing company that towed the car EVERYWHERE. There is a record of the car being towed to this mother ******* house months ago. I just have to wait until the towing company comes up with the information so I can give it to the cops. ---- that pisses me off. That little ---- was trying to ---- me over. I found out where the car is sitting. I got a picture, but it turned out like ---- because of how dark it is. I'll get some tomorrow.

I can't wait to show proof that the little ****** AND his neighbors are lieing to the cops.

You want to? I'll supply the weapons! I have an address and a name. What more do I need?
