If you dont want it to be slower than just use the b16 head and a b series dizzy with a vtek controller or the right ecu.

Chip a P28 and do an LS/VTEC. It might cost a little bit more but you'll be happier when all is said and done. I suppose you could just run a straight B16 for awhile and keep your LS block handy. Hell you could even build the LS block while you drive around with no torque until 6,000 RPM. Once it goes on, that'd be a pretty sweet setup.

We've been talking, he says if the B16 is too slow he's going turbo....

Here's to hoping it's slow!

b16 teg is slower than a b16 hatch, so its gonna be slow, no more tq than a stock SOHC, just a little more HP up top, which means on the street its gonna suck. stick w/ an LS or ls/vtec, or boost what you have.

He's not planning to use this as a daily, this is his "project"... I'm not thinking Nick is going to stay in low RPM's much

I'm trying to convince him into a turbo setup to get ~250whp...

edit: It'd be almost like having a GS-R integra anyways, hp wise... s1 transmission with LSD will be nice too
