Real car enthusiasts have their favorites to build, but they respect all cars in general. I think someone has some misdirected hostility. Maybe lacking in another department, hmm? This isn't AOL and your not in a chat room, grow up.

z28 camaros have 320hp. STOCK with the engine that CAME IN THE CAR.

why not put a big block 502 in the z28 camaro and say its faster than a crx hf with any engine you want too put in it.

can't compare non stock cars to other stock cars rofl.

Who says 6 cyl dont make hp?
I would rather have the supra than a new camaro or a vette.
There is a reason they dont make the camaro anymore. NO ONE WANTS IT!

if i really wanted to be a jerk I could talk day in and out about the crap suspension that Chevy decided to put on the 80 camaros, but I won't... what a waste of time. Every car manufacturer has special attributes that they make - people keep comparing these high-displacement engines against small displacement engines. OF COURSE ITS NOT GOING TO RUN THE SAME...
Lets be really stupid, and compare the torque/horsepower ratings of an oil rig drill in the ocean... jesus it only has what? 8 turbos to propel the motor?

Come on... stop flaming on each other... a car is a car.

We should focus all this hate on Mcdonalds for making me fat.

everyone knows inline 4s and 6s can make hp. but it takes a turbo/supercharger. that is obvious.

both type of engines V and inline have a place. but the whole reason i like bigger engines, is that they are so nice to cruise in. driving a gutless, even powerful inline engine (turbocharged) sucks, because to go up a hill you have to mash the gas and create boost. or worse yet shift down and mash the gas in a non boosted car to go up a hill. or start from a stoplight.

the reason inline 4cyl engines were ever created is to save gas, not be power plants. but newer v8s are becoming pretty effiecant, eg 405hp 400ft-lbs 19/28mpg

i would definatly agree that 80s camaros are ----. cause they are. everyone knows it. they are underpowered to say the least, lots of emissions controls and bullshit other things. i have no idea why they stop making camaros, but my guess is they will start making them again. i know lots of people like and want them, cause i see about 50 billion of them everyday. to put it this way, i see more 90+ camaros than integras. i see more SS camaros everyday than VTEC integras, no shitting. and this isn't in the BACKWOODS. this is the greater portland area. in the city

I really don't care for the * cyl vs 6 cyl vs 4 cyl argument. I was responding to MR2turbo in re him calling bullshit on my CRX pulling LS1's on the interstate.

You very much CAN compare any two vehicles, stock vs non-stock, if they are lined up next to each other.

pulling on stock ls1s?

probably true. with such a light car. but do you feel retarded putting all the work into your HF engine swap/turbocharger and barely pulling on a mild (stock) ls1 powered car. i know i will be disappointed when i do something racial EG turbocharged setup on my crx and i can't beat a very very mild ls1 and pretty heavy firebird?

i think we are going for the record of most posts on a thread.
