Ya stealerships WAY overcharge.

That's why I don't own a newer vehicle or ever take any of my vehicles to them. But they are for some people.

I told the guy 300 seems fair to me. D-man and I are doing it together and splitting the cash.

who pays for all the techs, their vacation time, special tools, insurance, land, property taxes, workmans comp, union fees, service managers, loaner cars, lifts, electricity, heat/ac, training,and so on. they charge more because they have more overhead than some small repair shop nig nog.

So your saying it can't be done? I have seen a guy do a entire engine swap (D16->D16) in about 45 min. If you know what your doing, what tools you need/know where they are, and have all your parts it's simple.
