The problem is the drive has bad sectors I believe. I ran memtest86 with no errors. The drive is fucked, but its only a year old so I can send it back to WD.....I drove the car a lot today with no problems except my piece o ---- clutch. Trying to run the crap gas out at low boost before I turn it up and finish off the clutch.

Pretty cool actually once I get a hard drive I'll prob keep it..........

And my wifes laptop on XP use to get the blue screen whenever we used explorer so now we the "opera" browser....not bad.......

But back on topic .....Yeah I would definately send the HD back to WD oooh and I would change the clutch now...but it sounds like your trying to squeeze every last drop of life outta that thing

I Still have the 40 gb hard drive i got from my comp 4 years ago and still no bad sectors, it's also a WD :P. That ---- is louder than ---- when i start converting divx files but it's still old reliable. I never ever use internet explorer not since i switched to mozilla back in beta :P. I only use IE whenever i need to log on crappy **** sites that say my browser isn't compatible :P.

My machine has run great from day 1 overclocked. This I know is a hard drive error. I am going to run WD diagnostics and then get an RMA. I have a laptop drive in a hard drive enclosure always hooked up to the main machine and its networked to my laptop so mostly all the important stuff is saved on the drive or my laptop.

my 2500+ barton runs at 3200+ speeds with a 420 FSB. Thats why I thought it was RAM. But its not.Funny thing is the drive didn't make any unusual noise. I had an IBM deskstar have a head crash and it sounded like a box of rocks.
