dude, you DO heat up street radials, just not alot. just burn a little bit and your good to go

how much is a little bit? when i was at the 1/8 miles track here i would pull up on my e-brake and drop the clutch and let them spin and drag my car almost up to the line then stop. i seem to get my 60ft from 2.5 to 2.4 from doing this on falkin ziex's.

I've tryed several different burnouts with street radials for long, short, inbetween, etc. it did'nt help it made me spin like a **** and that was na.

You're everyday street radial tires are made of a different compound then slicks. Burning out won't do hardly crap for you except shorten the lifespan of the tires. Just go around the waterbox and concentrate on your launch technique.
