no...but my alarm goes off,its supposed to do that though.

my battery sparks when i connect it with the ignition off, what the hell causes that and what should i do about it?

if it just sparks when you hook the battery cable to the battery thats normal.

If the ignition is off it shouild't spark. If it does spark it should be a small spark. If it is a rather large spark that would indicate a short. The only reason it would spark would be either a draw of current in the system such as a clock, an alarm, or anything else that might draw current when the ignition is off. These things will not draw a lot of current, but they will draw some which would cause a small spark. If it is a large spark and you don't have any draws with the ignition off, you have a short. Good luck finding it.

LOL, thats a fucked up thing, i have a short somewhere too. Doesn't cause too much problem, but it's a god damn bitch to find.

oh ok, thats some weight off my shoulders , i'm only getting a small spark, but i thought it shouldnt spark at all. however my alarm, amp and deck are hooked up all the time so there is alot of current draw right there.
