I modded an old maxi jet with the algea free upgrade for it yesterday. Took it from just a little over 100 gph to like 1600 (If advertising is right) and its a huge increase in flow. Its ------- awesome. My fish love it. Best $20 i have ever spent on it.

I just bought a 100 gal twin pump, twim bio-roller twin carbon assembly for my 50 gal. Sucker flows so hard. Even has a tube to where it can pick up from the bottom and three opening that you can close or open & a pick up about 2 inches below to the skimmer level. Right now I'm just running the Skimmer"top" port open and I have a kick *** Whirl Pool. so I know it's sucking up the proteins at the top 1 inch of the water.
