I wouldn't know about AC lol Mine doesn't work. I can hear it click on and the RPM's drop at idle when I turn it on, but just blows out the same temp air as just the fan.

well finding a 92-95 civc locally is too costly. i can also get an 88-91 civic hb from the same friend for cheap. problem is finding a damn vx swap. you would think that it would be easy because lots of ppl buy vx's to swap bigger engines into. these things should just be lying around in everyones garage for all the friggin hatchbacks i see around here. anyway... what about the 88-91 civic hb. it comes with a d15 in it so the vx swap should slide right in right? and ofcourse itll need
quite a few new wires added for all the extra electronic goodies on the engine. no big ive done it before

Find an 88 crx hf and drop that swap in. Ungodly mpg FTW.

I'd go for the 88-91 hatch in that case. This post has me thinking about doing this swap after summer into my civic, taking the z6 out to build for another chassis so I can have a nice mpg beast...

pretty much any d15 is gonna give you 30+mpg. ----, my d15b2 gets 32+ in my sedan. considering it burns a quart of oil between oil changes, and it leaks coolant. this motor is gonna go **** on me before i can get my swap in.

Old hf crx with stock motor was getting high 40's mpg

Or my 4 spd std also was in that same range when it was stock

with my zc in my crx I was still in the high 30's
