93 Del Sol, Slow Turbo Build

Here's a pic of what Im talking about when it comes to the "BLACK BOX" i remove the hose that goes to the pcv and run a hose going from the hole on the black box to CATCH CAN. Right?
Gonna grab some 1/2inch fittings from lowes and JB weld them on the can.

Thanks for that picture G_DOGG619. I think i got it figured out now, I ended up making my catch can out the spray can. Will post pics of it later!
Ran the car for about 15 seconds today for the first time in weeeeeeeeeks! LOL more like months...
Was just checking for big leaks and stuff. Nothing leaking yet. =]
When i turned it on i did notice that the turbo was spinning (it was pretty ------- sexy lol ), how would i keep it from over spining itself while driving it to get my exhaust done? As long as the internal wastegate is hooked up it should keep the turbo on check, RIGHT? lol
What i'll be doing is unhooking the piping from the throttle body and drive it like that to get my exhaust done.
That should be fine, right?

To be able to drive to my friends house.
But i realized that with the piping unhooked, the wastegate will never open since there will be no pressure building up. causing the turbo to spin itself to death lol
So I'm probably going to just unhook the actuator arm on the wastegate from the "flapper" on the manifold, that way the exhaust gases will just go straight out without going back into the engine and building boost.

Thats what I would do is just unhook the actuator arm. Wont produce any boost that way and you will be fine. Thats how I am goin to break in my motor. From what I am thinking anyways still up in the air with breaking it in under boost.
