You asked me if I had any, and said that the SSTs went bad really fast. This raises an eyebrow from me. I have been using both for quite some time, as others also have. There may be something wrong with your set-up or simply mishandeling the chips. Just throwing ideas out there.

 

Well I went through 2 bad sst512 chips and I had them checked out by xenocron including my williams burner, too. Xenocron said they were bad and I am thinking it might be my burner or the way the settings are on the burner. I'll have to play around more with the burner but I think its time to get a moates.

 

I killed one SST with my Willem, they were always kinda of finicky for me. Moates is pimp shizzle though, they work great with that.

Willem loves the 27c256 though, and Moates can't burn them.

So I hang on to both!
