WTB: Modified D16Y8 oil pan for a T3 Turbo!
As the subject says, I'm looking for an oil pan for a D16Y8 that has already been tapped and ready for use with a T3 Oil line kit from Stealthmode. I need this ASAP. Pics would be a neccessity. It needs to be tapped for both the feed and the return line to be used with the Stealthmode kit.
Thanks! |

Your oil feed line has nothing to do with the oil pan. The only modification necessary is to drill a hole so your oil can drain into it. The oil feeds from a fitting on the block.

if you have the stealthmode kit, why dont you just take off your own pan, and drill it yourself.

Well, I don't have the kit but I plan on buying it once I find an oil pan. Just incase I order it and find someone selling the kit for cheaper.
I would do it myself but I don't want to risk ------- up my pan. I didn't look in the description too much but does the stealthmode kit include everything to tap it or no? And don't you have to JB Weld the adapter on there also? I mean, it would be nice to have one already done... and done right. But if the kit includes everything I will need to get the oil to and from the turbo... no other crap needed... then I'll just get the kit. |
