I think the crank makes for most of the weight. Was that included in your figure? I know for a fact that a Z6 shortblock with all internals weighs around 100lbs.

i really dident think the crank weighed that much really, well anyway i can pull the crank and itl lighten it up prety good and the pictons ETC. i went off your 101 pound estimate for the the block and internals. I broke my scale and i havent gotten another yet.
