I had an a6 in my coupe for a few weeks and I used the b7 mounts, thats why I asked what year your car was.

Took the motor out cause it smoked!

My only reason for doing it is cause I came across a good a6 block with a good crank so no machine work was needed. I didn't want to make the sleeves any thinner than stock and I didn't want to turn a crank either.

So the b7 bracket will make the engine mount sit level and also let me run powersteering? If that's 100% then I will trade an extra z6 bracket I have for your b7 bracket towdogg

I wish mine didn't smoke.

Chris any used ZC pistons with rods and rings? That should slap in an A6 right!

Maybe someone can confirm what will be needed. I don't have a problem making one, but sometimes it's nice to just bolt something in.

I have a good set of a6 pistons a rods. Pulled out to be replaced with vitaras and TT rods

No I don't expect the whole thing just the bracket with 2 studs and a hole on top, and 2 that mount it to the motor.
