becuase it requires notching the main girddle and i really dont want to that..plus its easier to buy ones that drop right in, then you can do it with the motor still in the car

You don't have to notch the girdle, you have to notch the bottom of the bore.

Ok, jdmcrx1 just fell through on my old motor, so here it is.

D16y8 4k miles since being built.
eagle rods
srp 9.1 pistons
je rings
federal mogul bearings
block posts
fully rebuilt head with minor port cleanup
arp headstuds
all new gaskets, seals, belts, oil pump, water pump everything. Name it, it has it.
bottom end blueprinted to .0015 bearing specs on all throws.
All machine work is flawless on this thing. decked both head and block,
3 angle valve job done.
resurfaced flywheel.

Will come with y8 intake manifold mated to an ls throttle body, obd0 distributor and plug wires. When I took it out there was a little smoke at idle. never did a compression test on it. Either way, it's a steal at $1000.
