my brother needs an engine in his civic so i'm driving out there sunday to work on it for him. needs his transportation bad. so if you got a good running d15 collecting cobwebs in your corner near Dallas FtWorth area let me know. Thanks.
forgot to add, its a 90 civic. but a newer motor would work if i changed the intake.

 

I have one that I just pulled in the Dallas area. It does use a little oil, A quick rebuild should fix it. I will give the engine for $25. Let me know.

does it smoke and will it pass emissions? his was running great other than overheating over 55. no oil water mix etc. they put a head gasket on, new water pump, 3 thermostats, now it seems to be smoking coolant out the tailpipe, and still overheating. just don't want another bad engine. know what i mean? its an 11 hour ride for me 1 way, and hes no mechanic.

 

still might get it from you to fix for his other civic. both are down.
