I got some d16 crower rods pro-billet used for 5000 miles perfect conditions paid $600 for them asking $325 shipped....You don't need to notch the block with this ...best rods you can get for D

You're going to have to defend that claim. Best rod on the market is Carrillo H-beam, you know, who Eagle copied. It's a great design; using cheapass chinese forgings that are finish machined in North America the $300 Eagles still made 1200 whp in JoJo's car years before the ARP 2000 rod bolts were a standard issue item.

I'm not saying your Crowers are anything less than awesome pieces, mind, what I am saying is that you're going to have to make record breaking D16 power before anything more than a TT or Eagle is needed. Welcome to small bore engines.

well to keep the post going, I'm now looking for a set of TT rods or something close, but i think the rods "1slowcx" has are a bit out of my $ range. anyone know of someone who sells vitara pistons? thnx for the feedback
