It feels great and looks good too. No wear to the wheels at all and tight as any new turbo I've felt. Spins as it should too. I now want to make 100% sure what it is before I offer it to you though. If it ends up being a VF28 I don't want to sell it for $75 like I was when I thought it was the VF12; especially if it's a ball bearing unit.

Turbo.Spec. VF 28605 Serial No.RHB5 09617 PartsNo. 14412AA002 My search results kept saying VF28 off a mid 90's STI (obviously not USDM). I'm still not convinced that's what it is for some reason. Looks really small, but that's sitting next to a Holset and a Schwitzer so IDK. The ~450cfm seems doable for a turbo this size though. It's oil/water cooled too. |
