It feels great and looks good too. No wear to the wheels at all and tight as any new turbo I've felt. Spins as it should too. I now want to make 100% sure what it is before I offer it to you though. If it ends up being a VF28 I don't want to sell it for $75 like I was when I thought it was the VF12; especially if it's a ball bearing unit.

What dose it say on the Compressor housing? The blown ones i have say "tdo4L"

The IHI turbos don't say that though. TDO4HL is a Mitsu turbo that came on Subaru's. Mine says (on compressor cover plate)

My search results kept saying VF28 off a mid 90's STI (obviously not USDM). I'm still not convinced that's what it is for some reason. Looks really small, but that's sitting next to a Holset and a Schwitzer so IDK. The ~450cfm seems doable for a turbo this size though. It's oil/water cooled too.

i dont know about price yet, i haven't talked to him since november. he still has it for sure, new in box sitting on his shelf with gaskets. i'll talk to him tomorrow, i need to drop the ratchet i used a breaker bar on off for snapon to re-gear it. 300 ft lbs owns a 3/8" ratchet :6 :6

exhaust a/r is .45, compressor is the same as nissan patrol/forklift, rx7, IH scout diesel turbo, and is .53ar from what i've come across and been told.

yeah get me a price on that thing but its probably going to be over budget :P
