si dist works just have to notch the dist mounting brackets to get a bolt to line up yes one bolt its fine thats how my sohc vtec obdo cars were for years just get a oil leak out of the dist nothing major


cam angle sensor is not used has the a6 has a tdc in the dist

 

Yeah, I agree. Anyone who is afraid to hack a dizzy up to make it fit is a -----.

 

call me what you will but i would like to bolt everything together the RIGHT way.. if i wouldnt have found one then MAYBE i would consider doing it that way..

the one i just got is throwing the same code..

 

Might not be the sensor then...possibly a break in the wire somewhere. 2 things you can do...ohm out the sensor and see if it falls in factory specs, and if it does test the wiring then as well coming from the ecu to the sensor. I've had a few problems with older harness's cracking and breaking wires for no apparent reason.
