from what i know that isnt much it came out of an 89 ls and its dohc and its not a zc...they made custom motor mounts for the crx and the rear mount they couldnt find or something so they ------ made that ---- outa angle iron...i dont know how honestly but i guess becuase of this the motor sits down like 3 inches in the back ...and when you shift hard it pulls the spedo cable out....it has a prelude computer in it so it idle surges...and it has broken axels...so im gonna let it idle surge for a while cuase im lazy....im gonna fix the mount and im gonna replace the axels...and drive it until i get enough parts to put it in my hatch....

do you guys know if that motor would be quick at all in a crx with the proper mounts and axels...anyone have a similar set up?....

You got a D16a1 as you have been told before by many people it isn't worth your time or effort to put that thing into an ef, its the weak *** USDM version of the ZC motor with funky mounts...I doubt the crx would fast with motor, atleast probably not any faster than the D16a6 motor, no company makes mounts for that motor to go into anything best to keep them in 1g crxs and civics...

Its an a6...so its a SOHC motor? yea your tranny will bolt to it if thats the case and your stock mounts should work for it then too, you really shoudn't need anyting if yoiu are swaping a D seires into a car that had a D series in it already :P

I honestly don't think he knows what he's looking at...D16a1=dohc d-series piece of garbage. D16a6=sohc block. The only good thing usable in those dual cam usdm d-series motors are the pistons to make some frankenstein all-motor monster, other than that it's not even worth the hassle of trying to stuff that thing into anything but a 87 and down crx or civic.
