hmmmmmm dk about the bearing hurting the block i could tear it down tom and take a look,as far as the scratches i dont think they are to deap for a bore to fix, but i have never took an engine and had it bored so i dont know how deep they can fix?? but as far as the bearing goes the motor still spins fin so its not locked up but i guess it still could have hurt the block
