Default 9cm housing for HX35

Don't care what sort of housing
Must just fit an HX35

have 12cm now - slow to spool

Suggestions?
I know BEP makes them: but they're a little pricey

Any easier way to get one? Off H1C or something?

you cant use an hy housing on an hx turbo because the CHRA is different
HX = bolt on housing
HY= V-band housing

An h1c turbine housing will bolt to an hx35 housing, the only difference may be the number of bolts.

I also don't believe that there was a 9cm^2 housing that wasn't connected via vband(hy35). Turbocharger FAQ

You may want to try either utilizing the twin scroll by pairing cylinders 1,4 and 2,3 and running 2 wastegates or keeping it divided until the base of the valve. Maybe even try blocking off one of the ports if its an open t3 manifold(effectively a 6cm^2 housing but not making good use of the compressor at that point).

WORP, I am looking for short outlet 18cm^2 turbine housing if you have no use for yours after you find a smaller one. If I wasn't keeping my 12cm to compare I'd sell you mine.

I have decided to run this on my Honda. For now I am goin to just block one side of the divided turbine housing. I have a guy that says he can machine a HY housing to fit on a H1 or HX turbo. If someone has a spare HY 9cm housing layin around I am interested in it.

Or just grab an HY35 since its the same exact compressor and an appropriately sized turbine with the housing.
