ok from what i read there are two different exhaust housings on these ******* the (12 cm^2 ~= .63 AR, 16 cm^2 ~= .82AR) but how do you know wich one you got ?


mine is the hx35w if it matters

 

its been a few months so all this info isn't fresh in my mind but... isn't it stamped on the housing? And IIRC there are more than just two variants of housings. forgetting the 21^2 :-p

I meant cast.. not stamped. Should be clearly visible on the turbine housing.... I think... lol... lemme go check the spare housing I have in my room....

Most of them have the size cast into the housing just inside the inlet flange. Its also normally on the outside near the flange also. Sounds like yours is the 12 for sure.

but its on the outside of the turbine housing on the side facing the comp
