PR4 socketed with a ZIF socket. It doesn't come with a base map because I never had chips, always just had my Ostrich. You can get basemaps/chips for REALLY cheap from -------------. Previous owner or somebody ripped off all the stickers and ---- but i think its a PR4, it ran my car just fine with my ostrich. Soldered carefully using flux and quality electronics solder. Pop in a basemap, snug it down easily with the ZIF and go to town

I was always a fan of the simple nature of the Field unit. Nice and small, easy to stow away with the small face area.
