Hey guys. I have this zex dry setup. It actually acts like a wet setup because the control box rises the fuel pressure via the FPR (because it has a vacuum control) that the injectors see using calculations that it taps from your car and nitrous bottle pressure. It's the standard one for 4-6 cylinder motors but can also be used to work on an 8 cylinder with a bigger jet. It's a nice kit with some extras. Comes with like 4 or 5 different jets ranging from 55 to 100 (I think, need to check). It also has a pressure gauge attached to the bottle. Last but not least, the bottle has been polished from a total bling look versus that anodized homo purple ---- (they didn't polish the bottom but if you have a dremel then it's not hard to do).

The same kit without the extras nor polished bottle costs like $550 shipped, so this is a low price. Chris (the mod) said he was going to pick it up for a friend but the guy didn't want it. I had some local kids wanting to give me $500 for it installed but also flaked. Someone buy it before I post this ---- on h-t and have to deal with the ricers.

Here are the pics. The bottle has light scuffing where it lays down on the straps, otherwise it's in good used condition. The only other minor issue is the control box got scraped, but just a little cosmetic scuff. You'll need to spend a $1 at the parts store for new hose and it needs wiring which I may throw in if I find some laying around. I was going to just run the nozzle int the top of an air filter. I'll throw in a new cone filter (your typical cheap cold air intake style K&N knockoff) for free if I find it in the garage, I know it's in a box somewhere.











I want to mention this to the possible noob buyers out there, I've been on this forum for a long time and I've done a lot of business with people, including half the mods on this site. I'm paypal verified and I'll ship next day. Feel free to ask questions.

yeah I know - somewhat of a fuel riser.. but for the common noob to understand it's easily grouped into the wet kit catagory as far as function/efficency/AFRs are concerned. I have already contacted zex and picked the brains of their somewhat helpful phone techs. I would be happy to help anyone understand the concepts of power and engine management (those who are interested).

You haven't been around long enough to be able to recall what I used to offer to this website; search a little deeper and you'll see me with some useful tech. I may share some really nice writeups here soon.. I'm in the process of building or selling my current car... not really sure which way the wind will blow, but regardless I have a lot of high end ---- that will go up for sale. This includes many custom made parts that you won't find anywhere else.

For now I need to unload this zex kit, it has been sitting in the closet for a while now and I don't feel like ------- with it anymore. I would rather see the money go into DIY wideband improvements and maybe some more professional circuit equipment (got my bench almost setup like my former job). When I take pics and have info in uniform I shall share.

I tried to pawn this ---- off at my local illegal street races. Sad ------- thing is that everyone was all over the EK civic strut bar that said 'ractive' versus this (the ricers in my area are extra stupid). I left my car parked to go race in some random evo and luckily nobody stole this ---- out of my backseat.

Anyways, buy it up now fools before I have to pretend to be friendly to some local ricer ----.
