and where do they outlast? i see maybe 10 dodges from the 70's/80's on the road, and over a thousand total of ford and chevy in my area.

hmm, outperform on pavement? it's a ------- truck, not some nignogged t4 civic. take it off road for a while and when your front axle gets clusterfucked with the t-case don't come back whining to me, get one of the fords/chevies out there to laugh at you when they tow you home.
