I responded to both of you. If you bother to look you can see I haven't signed in until now. If you'd stop acting like I scammed you and trying to ruin my reputation that would be nice. It's a ------- turbo that smoked. It's not like I stole from you, so let's work this out like civilized people instead of publicly displaying my name and what not. I hate selling ---- on this site. Everyone automatically assumes they're going to be scammed and when it's not a perfect transaction the seller's reputation gets ruined.

You can't tell me that any single person who sells used car parts has had something not function perfectly. It happens, so instead of being ***** about it try and be reasonable. I'm not sending a refund without getting the turbo(s) back first. It doesn't work that way and it never has. If you want to use an escrow service that's a good compromise.

You guys are acting like I assaulted your mother. I sign in after being gone for 36hrs and I have over 10 pm's from you. If you guys want brand new then you'll have to buy brand new and spend the money. If you elect to buy cheap used parts then you run the risk of them not being perfect. I'm working it out with you both of you, but you have to chill the ---- out instead of putting me in the same league as somebody who stole your money and sent you nothing. Posting my name up for any random person to see is out of line. Why do I have to clear my name? Because a used turbo I sold smoked? Yeah that never happens . Back the ---- off the public trashing and we'll work this out. If you insist on lumping me in with the scammers then that's exactly what you'll get.

Why would I send you back a turbo before I get the money now? You wanted the money before you sent me the turbo in the first place right? Thats how it works, cash transaction then the mailing of the part. Not atleast checking the site for 36 hours when you know you have 2 people that you still need to finish deals with it a bit long in my opinion. I just pmed you asking for half my money back for the turbo as i have already droped it off at a local shop (DW Diesel of rochester ny) to get a quote on a rebuild. You sold parts that were titled as good shape and were nothing close to it, now man up and take care of business to get your name back on good terms.

not trying to get in your business, but you DO realize some people have a life, and dont get online every waking hour... 10 pms over 36 hours is freaking rediculous lol. how did you drop off a turbo somewhere when you only have 1 car, after whining about not being able to go to work if you can get a ride to drop something off, you can for sure find a ride to work.
im fairly sure if he was trying to scam you guys he woulda sold the ---- and disappeared, and you woulda been stuck bitching andcomplaining in off-topic, and all of hmt thugs would come out.

I was able to get a ride to the shop in the afternoon, it is easier to ask a friend for a ride then. Right now he is trying to work something out with me on helping pay for the rebuild, so we will see how that goes. I know this happens sometimes and it just is really frustrating, sorry if I am treating this so intensely.

haha, send the refund, then the turbo if YOU want something, YOU act. i cant fathom him really wanting the turbo back, and sending the money first. worse comes to worse for him, he keeps the money, and doesnt have to deal with you again.

im sorry, but im with the seller this time around. i mean, it is a used turbo, and priced pretty cheap. no, not dirt cheap, but it sure as hell isnt a 700 dollar turbo. so you spent 2-300 dollars, and need to spend 150 more for a rebuild. still not a bad deal.

Do you fail at reading? it says mint, indicating a like new turbo. Also he told me in pm's that it will run for along time.

And I will not send the turbo back w/out money first or some type of escrow service, I have no protection by sending him a turbo back and waiting on hopes and dreams that he would send me the money back. If I was buying from a reputable company it would be different, I would rather keep a shitty turbo then send it to him and hope that he would refund me my money. Obviously someone doesn't know how to rebuild turbos but only run them through the parts washer, anyways I got fucked.
And what in the hell does it matter about the price? It makes no difference if I paid 600 or 100 if someone tells you one thing and it does another, its not right.

I don't care how much they paid for it,I would be pissed too.The description says "perfect",not may or may not smoke and need a rebuild.If he felt it wasn't in 100% working condition it would have taken him 5 seconds to write a disclaimer such as "I haven't personally ran this/these turbochargers so it may or may not have problems so i'm not offering any guarantees".Then none of us would be reading this,and no one after the fact would be telling them what did they expect they are used turbos and they rolled the dice on a turbo that was described as "perfect".

Got a call from DW today, it has compressor housing/wheel damage, shaft damage and needs a rebuild. I got quoted 625 which is redicolus so I asked if I could come get it and they are trying to charge me 78 for labor in inspection charges they didn't tell me about when I dropped it off. So now I prolly wont get the damn thing back untill Tuesday the guy said, and he also said he will talk to his manager about the fees.

well you cant expect him to have to pay you for the inspection charges.... that was your stupidity for wanting a refund but taking it elsewhere.

so even if you get a full refund your still down 78$$$
