have you ever turbo'd a car the thing about the rust is an easy fix with sheet metal, i never went under the car either, i never saw rust either, i think your pretty lucky for buying a car for 1,000 with a swaped turbo charged engine and you made it almost 600 miles, would you have rather it had no rust and blown in the middle of iowa ??

 

There's nothing really wrong with the car, I'm happy with it for a $1000 car. I was/am super delerious from lack of sleep so that's what brought on those posts.

I don't have a problem with bitchasscracker or ososlohatch, they're cool guys. I suppose that's what exhaust fumes do to you after 24hrs of exposure. I put some wheels/tires I had laying around on the front of it earlier before I had to go to work to get rid of those pizza cutters. 205/60/13 vs 185/80/13 or whatever they were. I'll post some pics in a few.

 

The guy who sold it to you turbos 1.8 Eclipses, that should have steered you way clear of it!

$1000 you got your $'s worth simple as that. You didn't test drive before you bought it? As soon as the money changes hands and the title is signed it's your problem lol. As long as he wasn't making excuses for you to not test drive it or look it over good, or wasn't hurrying you along to pay him, I'd say he had no idea it was rusty; and he said he didn't know.

monkey just keep me posted on the future mods of the car. i'm not pissed that you brought up the concern that you had about the car. like i said i didnt know it was there and i did do every thing i could to get it ready for your trip. i'm glad you finally got sleep and time to cool off. sorry about any problem with the transations you feel took place. i was honest about everything i knew.

We haven't figured that out yet since my friend can't drive but they both pull about the same. My B16 is a freak motor though, I think the gook that had it over in Japan did some ---- to it. I'm gonna put on the CCA intercooler I bought awhile back for the red one on tonight after work. Then I gotta go back out to the junkyard and get my money back for the radiator I bought today cause the KKK turbo I have won't clear the stock sized radiator.

Once I change the turbo out and replace the radiator it shouldn't burn or leak anything, so I'll put plates and insurance on it after that and start taxing some *** around town.

 

Trade my turbo kit for it?
