Default Testing Waters FS:2000 civic si boosted

Testing waters: 12,000/OBO Low miles 41k chass/300miles motor
Located greater eastside of Seattle.

Due to the addition of our family we have decided to put my car up for sale. We are in dire need of a 4-door car. This is a clean title 2000 Honda civic Si. Here are the facts I bought this car brand new off the lot back in 2000. 3 days after owning it I woke up to it missing. Only things taken were the CD player rims and tweeters. Those items were covered under the insurance. Since then the car has been broken into a few times but nothing for the last 2 years since we have moved and now have a garage. The car just turned 41k on the odometer and has 300miles on a brand new b16 engine. I am still in the break in period for the new motor. This car may or may not come with harness bar. We really do not need to sale but would like a 4 door SUV. If I do not sale I will just keep it.
Motor: Motor will be broke in before sale
Fresh B16A w/ every gasket seal replaced.
CP pistons 9:1 Compression
New rings for pistons
New timing belt
New head gasket ect ect
New bearings
Have receipts ($1000 in rebuild alone)
Another $1000 for professional to drop it in.
B&M short shifter
Exedy clutch & PP
Power steering
No AC installed but will include
Golden eagle vacuum manifold.
ES motor mount inserts
RC 440 injectors
Walbro fuel pump

Turbo kit:
T3/t4 60/63ar stage 3 wheel
RLD fab log mani
3inch downpipe has flex section for waste gate (COOL)
3Inch Ecutout w/ V band flange
2.5inch greddy exhaust
focus exhaust can
Tial wastegate 5psi spring and 14.5psi spring (5 psi spring installed)
Greddy FMIC 24V
Custom pipes (done by turbo tech in Tacoma wa)
Turbo XS type S BOV (real deal)
Electronics:
Megan racing: Boost
Megan Racing: Oil Temp
Megan Racing: Oil Pressure
Megan Racing: Water Temp
Greddy Profec B
Greddy Black TT
P-28 ECU
Pillar Pod
Gauge Bezel
Now the Oil Pressure/Water Temp have not been hooked back up since the swap but come with new sensors to be hooked back up.

Stiff Stuff:
5 Tenzo shuz 17x7 on kumo tires Gunmetal
Neuspeed springs 1.5inch drop
DC sports upper sway bar
Z speed lower tie bar
Discontinued Speedware harness bar with (may or may not come with car)
Driver’s side sparco harness (black)
Skunk 2 camber kit in the front
Rear has washer trick
All 4 tires are siped

The 5th wheel is a replacement wheel due to something falling on the Polished lip. It is a full size spare though. I am also trying to trade the harness bar for a wideband.

ICE:
Kenwood CD/MP3/Ipod deck
Car is wired for a system ( It was stolen and never replaced)
Stock speakers inside.
Cons:
disabled automatic lock switch (hate thieves)
Small 2-inch scratch under passenger mirror. Front bumper has been cutout to fit FMIC. And could use a repaint due to some scratches and rock chips.

I am probably missing some small things but lets get on to what kind EMS and some more history. Back in 2005 Import specialty installed a greddy kit and Dave Lee tuned the car on Crome. @ 10psi with bad rings the car made 224whp/180tq. Very disappointed I talked to ABAZ from Homemade turbo and then purchased a set of CP pistons. He put those in for me and on the greddy kit @14psi I made 274whp. Well the 18g was bought 2nd hand and started puking oil. This power was not enough anymore so I got a new log mani/downpipe/turbo. This setup was tuned again by Dave Lee and you could tell the power difference was huge. He street tuned the car 3 days before BOTI of Seattle closed and open cutout. The 440’s really hurt the performance since we mixed those out @ 10psi open cutout. Dave told me to run it closed for BOTI and 16.5psi no problem. Come back and see him with some 750’s and he would tune it 18psi open cutout, and we would get some race gas stuff going. Well I hit something on my way to BOTI and broke my Viand flange so we had to turn the boost down and run 10psi. Most of you prolly seen my crappy passes but on my last run of the day I turned the **** on the boost controller just a tad and everybody saw me blow my block. Now the car is back with a fresh engine. The car may or may not come with 750’s and dyno numbers but will deliver with a retune.
Once again we are in no hurry to sell and I have been forthcoming with everything upfront to you. PM or Email me with any questions. No joy rides I would rate this car 8/10 for a 6-year-old car.
Newer pics will be coming Engine bay is alot cleaner had most wiring cleaned up.

Just gotta say,

there was a local selling a 2000 Si civic with MUCH less mods (no internal work) and making much less power for $14k locally, so I think thats a pretty smokin deal

It is posted on alot of forums. Clean title and most of the cars life i worked less then a mile from my home, then we moved and my wife and i car pool and drive her car. So it was only driven on weekends. But for 4 1/2 years it was under a carport so the car could use a nice detail.

I can provide Vin# for those interested. Due to the history of the car i do not want to post it up.

Oh also forgot it has a $1500 dollar alarm installed. 2 way pager with 3 remotes 1 carbon fiber the other 2 don't work so well. There is a ton of options i had put on the alarm and can disclose them to the buyer. Lets just say the only way sombody would get the car this time is if they towed it.

Josh, We are really looking at buying a new Rav4 or land rover. Need the money for the down payment.

Spider if some one is really interested they can come over to my house and we can do the compression/leakdown test. As of right now i just actually broke 280miles on the new motor so there is still some breakin driving to do.

Thanks Steve
