well I am going to sell the rex probably in the spring. I was just wondering what I could expect to get for it. the car setup is as follows

1988 honda crx dx
ls/vtec swap with ctr pistons and adj cam gears
car makes around 180whp na and run's consistant 12's all day.@105+
has stock crx si 89 wheels
clutchnet 6 puck solid disk no chatter suprisingly 7.5lbs fidanza flywheel
edt racing mount kit lined up perfectly
this runs perfect and only has about 10k on the new build gets mid to low 40mpg still and uses no and mean NO oil at all.
the body is in pretty ruff shape right now but I am willing to fix and repaint

so what do you guys think I can get for this thing with both the way it sits and with the body in mint shape with new paint please guys I am looking for only realistic prices oh ya I am located by buffalo ny thanks

ill take it off your hands in the spring.lmk know when you are selling it.your only a 4 hour drive from me and i get my license back in january.id say about 2500. what were you thinking?

I was thinkin a lot more then 2500 heck I got close to that in the motor and tranny setup alone.

Well you got to remember you have the motor in a 18 year old shell, with the body beat up you proabably get $2500-$3500 realistically with fresh paint and body work, maybe up to $4000...but I don't know really need to find the right buyer ie.. some ricer high school kid with rich parents or someoneone on HT

hmm I guess I should just slap a body kit on it and sell it to rich boy XXXX and take my cash huh. I was just basicly wondering what they go for besides around here. I know a kid who sold his crx si with paint and a body kit i/h/e burning oil like a **** for 4500. freakin crazy.

yea there is a spotless fully built CRX LS/Vtec and pretty much every nut and bolt replaced fresh paint and all around here and the guy is asking $6500 but it will never sell been sitting infront of his hous for months now...not that the car isn't worth it but not many people are going to spend that much on a car that is 15+ years old

There are a couple CRX's on the local ricer forum I post on. One is an 88 DX crx primered with an LS/Vtec going for $1700 and the other is a nicer 88 HF crx with an LS/Vtec going for $2500. So I really doubt your going to get more than $2500 for yours.
