I just helped a friend install a bigger turbo on his 2G gsx. This turbo is in excellent condition only 57K miles, almost NO shaft play (like .25mm), well taken care of, no more boost than 16psi. Very clean turbo.

The turbonetics external wastegate(Deltagate II) is not ideal for manual boost controllers. It worked fine on my electronic boost controller and never gave me any hasles. It needs a new shaft seal, but otherwise works great.

How much is it to replace the seal on the WG?

 

i have no idea on the price of the seal. I have a blitz sbc ID boost controller and never had a problem with it creeping or anything. I just found out about the seal by doing a boost leak test. I listened for any signs of air leaks, and bingo, a leak from the shaft. It was a minor leak, but still, its there, and Id hate to sell someone something that they thought was in perfect shape, to come and find out that it has a problem.

If anyone is in the san jose california area, I will gladly go a bit lower. I set these prices basically with shipping in mind.
