I think that you are talking about me.

I didn't flake. You just didn't have any part numbers or way of verifying if the pistons were for forced induction. SRP makes 2 varieties of 9.5:1 A6 pistons.

I wouldn't call it a flake if you don't even know what you have, and you arn't willing to find out for me.

Any buyers looking at these I would be warry, not that he is a bad seller, just remember to take into account that you do not know 100% that they are for FI, they might just melt away on ya.

 

actually they make 3 varieties but as far as i know the only difference is the bore, and i'm pretty sure any 9.5:1 c/r forged pistons are acceptable for forced induction

 

Just went to look online again, and we are both wrong.

There are 3 pistons for the A6, but none of them that are 9.5:1 accept boost.

"don't accept boost" wtf are you talking about? just b/c they don't say it next to the little specs don't mean ----. forged is forged and 9.5:1 is 9.5:1, there's nothing esle to it. those pistons are fine for boost. you think someones gonna build a 9.5:1 comp. a6 all motor motor monster :P
