Just think of it like cheap race gas...instead of paying $9-15 a gallon, you'll only be paying $2/gallon and only using it when you actually boost. Bad tank of gas...no problem.

Is their a way too tell when the tank is empty? I did a quick read and didnt see anything.

 

Easy. The engine sends smoke signals through the VC breather via the holes that melted through your pistons.

Is there enough hose to keep the reservoir in the cabin? That's possibly an option.

if my car was running i would really consider buying one of these... this kit looks to be well thought out...other than the 2 quart tank, sounds way too small to me...

 

Here's what you do:

Buy a big bag of sugar, 20lbs for $8.
Buy some yeast, I got a lb of yeast for $3.
Ferment the sugar with the yeast and ----.
Distill it to get 160-170 proof, this can be left as is or diluted further.
Run your $3 a gallon ethanol.

As soon as gas prices get to Euro levels I'm going into full fledged ethanol production for fuel. When I get some land in Louisiana (a place I've always wanted a house) I'm growing some ----------ing sugar cane and doing it the right way.

Oh yeah for relevance 2quart does seem awful small.

 

Enough to mount it in the trunk...

The 2 quart is small, but you only use it when boosting. They claim that a full tank is enough for 8-10 full passes down the drag strip...

As far as the warning, they have the safe injection system which is pricey but what it does is monitor flow and when flow drops below a preset limit it shuts your boost down to a safe level. SO...you tune to your lowest boost level without meth, then you start to add meth at that point as you raise boost. If the tank ever runs out or flow is blocked, the system lowers your boost to the safe level.

There is a 7 quart tank and an 8 gallon tank...as well.

 

You can only legally have a 1 gallon capacity still for ethanol production. At least in Wisconsin.
