Default Schwitzer S200 Extended Tip Turbo! .48/.85

S200 w/anti-surge compressor housing and "Map width enhancement grooves" .48a/r (but flows much more than the normal .48a/r) and .85a/r divided turbine.
It turns out I was trying to sell one bad *** turbo super cheap because I didn't know much about it.
The DSM guys love them and they outperform similar sized Garretts.
Here is some info:
ETT technology, or Extened Tip Technology has pioneered fully by BorgWarner turbochargers. Just take a look at the compressor wheel to the right and notice the massive exducer of this turbocharger! The taller the wheel, the more easily it can run high boost. The longer the tips, the longer it can sustain high boost under loads. Extended fins do not hamper spool-up what so ever. The compressor wheel is designed to remove excess weight, reducing overall rotation mass. Of particular importance is the reduction of weight at the outer edges which is a major factor for reducing inertia. The weight reduction and where it is reduced allows these compressor wheels to spool FAST.
BorgWarner did not stop there, the compressor cover is fully cast to match the compressor wheel, not adapted from some other application that wasn't designed for performance. The cover features a fully functional port shroud known as Map Width Enhancement Grooves that allow air to be pulled and fed directly into the second set of blades on the compressor wheel outside of the main inlet. This most noticably increases the efficiency of the compressor as well as over air flow, hence the name, Map Width Enhancement Grooves: it produces "wider" compressor maps!

I'll snap some pics of the compressor wheel and turbine asap.
New units designed for DSM's run in the $1200-$1400 range.
In my other thread I had this down to $155 shipped before realizing I had a gem.

Here is what Bullseye says about it:
Borgwarner
Introducing the new Schwitzer/Borg Warner S200 and S300 turbocharger, with its Extended Tip Technology, it sports one of the best looking compressor maps we've ever seen. This Extended Tip Technology together with a Map Width Enhancement Groove allows this turbocharger to support one of the highest pressure ratios available today. This new extended tip compressor design maximizes flow while minimizing rotating weight and inertia. This unit offers a complete aero package for unbeatable horsepower and uncompromising spool up.
It's a fairly big power turbo 425-500+ from what I can locate.
Asking $520 shipped obo

WTF lol. It may be the compressor side used on the DSM turbos, but they spend a lot of time and money adapting it for their use. BTW, you can find the exact same turbo on Ebay with a larger cold side for $300 shipped all the time. I bought an S300 for $300 shipped brand new. There's not a Schwitzer going for over $100 right now even. Just because some DSM guy told you it's a good coldside doesn't warrant the massive asking price IMO. Nobody bought it at $155, so what makes you think they'll go almost $400 higher since you talked it up? Use the damn thing if you want so much for it and think it's the hottest ---- around. It's still an OEM diesel turbo off some industrial machine or truck or whatever, not a fully custom drag turbo ready to run JDM 10's. Let's be realistic now. Sorry to be a *****.

1. NO MORE FLAMING PEOPLES POST! if you dont like the PRICE/there parts/riced out ride/whatever STFU and move on. IM TIRED OF DELETING YOUR ------ POSTS. if i see you flaming you will be on my --------, if it continues you will be added to the banned list...

Just in case you aren't aware of the rules.
Now I have to respond.

"It may be the compressor side used on the DSM turbos, but they spend a lot of time and money adapting it for their use"
-It's here on HMT. Bolt it to a mani, fab a dp, and rock it.

"you can find the exact same turbo on Ebay with a larger cold side for $300 shipped all the time. I bought an S300 for $300 shipped brand new."
The older versions didn't have the ETT and MWEG technology. That's the whole point of this being a sweet turbo. Link me to one smart guy.

"There's not a Schwitzer going for over $100 right now even"
There's not one of these listed at this time.

"Just because some DSM guy told you it's a good coldside doesn't warrant the massive asking price IMO."
I haven't spoken to nor do I personally know any "DSM guys"

"Nobody bought it at $155, so what makes you think they'll go almost $400 higher since you talked it up?"
I wasn't familiar with the unit and I don't think it's common knowledge they are awesome turbos.

"It's still an OEM diesel turbo off some industrial machine or truck or whatever, not a fully custom drag turbo ready to run JDM 10's"
Yep, small Volvo inline 6 rated at 425hp. Are Holset HX's fully custom drag turbos? I'm pretty damn sure you're gonna pay WELL over $500 for one of those.

"hottest ---- around"
Never claimed that. You are correct about one thing however. You are being a *****.

You can get a new Holset HX series turbo for about $500 on Ebay when they come up occasionally. U can get them used for under $300 all day. The DSM Holset bolt-on set-ups are well known too and nobody buys them because Bullseye turbo have a decent name at best. Their V-trim variants have more failure rates than about any other DSM adapted turbo. Since yours isn't new and a bit smaller it's not worth that even. The Bullseye variants are made to work well on a car though and my guess is that the original turbine wheel and hotside aren't used. Therefore a turbo that comes with a polished comp housing, a car specific hotside, a more proper sized turbine wheel, etc, etc shouldn't be compared to your turbo. Your variant isn't the only one with the Extended **** Tip technology either and the S300 I bought new in the OEM bag for $300 absolutely did have it and was a factory new turbo.

Why don't you check what gen4acclude posted and see what you think. $100 and some change for a more potent turbo than yours and it's new too. I'm flaming your prices, just trying to realize why you made a whole new thread for the same exact turbo except now for $500 rofl. You can get a good brand new smaller T4 in the $500 range, so why on earth would someone buy yours at $520 and used? We're not calling you names at all and are providing links to back-up our thoughts, so quit being a nancy and sell it for what you were originally selling it for. IB you got it for less than $100, so asking $520 is being greedy and unrealistic. Good luck with your sale and if you get near $500 for it I'll send you a video of me chopping off my pinkey.

What is it with **** getting called out and then just copy/pasting the entire rules list? What the ----. Heath, I hope you die like a recently deceased celebrity of the same name, and he probably portrayed the same sexual persuasions as you did in his Oscar winning movie. ******
