I bought a semi built complete D16z6 off of Hotrex in early november(see: http://turbod16.com/viewtopic.php?t=12327&highlight=). It was to include everything to complete the swap including a Clutchmasters lightened flywheel and a Centerforce Dual Friction clutch.

I received the swap around late november or early December. It took a while to ship but I was in no hurry. When I got the swap I looked it over and all seemed ok until I noticed the tranny didnt have a clutch or flywheel in it. When I confronted Hotrex about this he told me that there was another box of stuff that his dad didnt send with it and that he would send it out right away. Again, I told him no big hurry and that I appreciated it. Remember, this is December.

Periodically I would send him a message every couple weeks asking when he was gonna send my stuff out, usually with no reply. Finally the time comes when I need to sell this thing and I have no clutch and no flywheel to sell with it.

I know Hotrex has a tough time shipping stuff on time, but I think 4 months is a little rediculous. I will gladly take this post down after I get my stuff. But until then Hotrex either owes me $200 or the parts promised.

Before anyone asks, yes I did try and contact him recently. I have sent about 3 or 4 IM's along with a PM to his HMT and TurboD16 accounts stating that if I didnt have a reply by tuesday that I would be forced to call him out. Nothing has received a reply.

P.S. Why did you buy from him? (I like Hotsex, but you can't trust him to ship ----...)

 

he wasn't selling you anything, he was just taking 'donations' for his turbo gsr :P

 

I actually found people on Honda Tech that got their products shipped out and had good dealings with him. I didnt even know of this web site when I bought the stuff from him. I talked to a couple people on turboD16 as well and they all gave him a good word. And it's not like I needed the stuff right away so shipping it next day was of no concern. Now, when it takes 1/3 of a year to ship one box that was supposedly already together and just needed to be paid for.....thats a little rediculous.

i cant complain, i bought ---- from him, it took about 2 months to get ----. but it came. it pissed me off....I was in no hurry, but like everyone else says "hes not a scammer, he just takes a long time to ship ----"
