I agree with Frank on this one. The fact is.. you're not going to blindly send anyone cash for a purchase like this. I would have someone I know who lives close to him seal the deal and ship freight if I didn't drive out to the sellers house personally.

I have seen complete sets similar to this one go on ebay for less from time to time. I would say his asking price is half of what the typical mechanic technician pays from off the tool truck (but at least those mechanics have the option of financing). His asking price is about what the tools are worth if you were to sell each one individually via ebay (quite a few high quality parts in there). Myself, I like to score large sets of tools from estate sales or from thieving crackheads that just jacked a dealership garage.

If you decide to split it up, I'll buy that cornwell torx bit set off you.

 

Yeah, 3500 is 1/2 what I got in it. All of it was purchased from a tool truck and financed. Thanks on the offer to part, but I dont really wanna part it out.

 

This is a ------- smokin deal....I hate to know what is making you sell off your livleyhood. If you were within a 500 mile radius of me Id be in the truck on the way to pick it up now.

Well, I lost my job about 2weeks ago and it's been hell trying to get another one. I'm married and have a lil' girl. I am selling my toolbox to get money to pay bills until I get a job. I have like 20 applications filed, but nobody hires quickly anymore. Thanks.
